How does the Elos technology rejuvenate the skin?

The gentle light and electric energies break up the pigment and/or blood in lesions and stimulate
collagen restructuring and production, restoring skin to a more youthful state. Brown spots
(pigmented imperfections) from sun damage and aging, red blotchiness from spider vessels or
rosacea (vascular imperfections) and rough skin texture improve over a treatment series.

What kind of results can be expected from an Elos Skin Rejuvenation treatment?
Each treatment will result in gradual lightening and improvement of pigmented and vascular
imperfections. Textural improvements are appreciated towards the end of the treatment course.
Here are some of the changes that can be expected:
• With a series of five treatments people with ruddy complexions should see an improvement some where between 60% and 70%
• Broken capillaries should improve by up to 75%
• Sunspots, brown spots and freckles will improve anywhere from 80% to 90%
• Fine wrinkles around the eyes and mouth area improve around 40% to 60%
• Deeper wrinkles will improve anywhere from 20% to 40%

How frequently do Elos Skin Rejuvenation treatments need to be performed?
Treatments are repeated every 2-4 weeks for an average of five treatments.

How does the Elos Skin Rejuvenation treatment feel?
The sensation is often described as a ‘hot pinch’ or ‘snapping’ feeling. The sensation only lasts
for a fraction of a second and warmth and/or a tingling sensation is experienced for a short time
afterward. Most people tolerate treatment without any topical anesthetic, but individuals who are
more sensitive may prefer to have skin numbed before treatment.

What happens after each Elos Skin Rejuvenation treatment?
Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal
activities immediately after treatment. The improvement in pigmented and vascular irregularities
can often be appreciated before the next treatment a month later. Brown spots temporarily go
darker before they lighten.
