What is VelaSmooth?
VelaSmooth is a non-surgical laser for the circumferential reduction of cellulite and fat. It is also the only FDA approved laser for body contouring, tightening and smoothing of the skin. The VelaSmooth is ideal for those stubborn areas of unwanted fat and cellulite on the hips, buttocks, thighs, abs, love handles, flanks, arms, and loose skin around the knees. When an active and healthy lifestyle just isn’t enough to eliminate those extra inches of fat around the hips and abs, or smooth the last few dimples of cellulite on the thighs and buttocks, VelaSmooth is the perfect solution with no downtime, safe and fast results!

How it Works:
VelaSmooth is a non-invasive medical laser designed on bi-polar technology: a combination radio frequency and infrared heat and light to deliver energy directly into the target endpoint: cellulite and fatty cells. When the heat and light are deposited into the cellulite and fatty cells, they provide an energy that begins to stimulate the metabolism in the cells, ultimately burning the fat and or cellulite.

Basically, VelaSmooth was designed to mimic what the body goes through during an aerobic and active state. For instance, when a person increases their cardio through jogging, they begin to burn calories and ultimately burn fat. This is because the metabolism in the cells has received enough heat and energy to begin breaking down the fatty deposits. The VelaSmooth mimics that exact process by delivering heat and light (radio frequency and infrared) in the target cells, providing maximum energy in a localized area. This intense energy then begins to increase the metabolism within fat and cellulite cells, ultimately burning fat or cellulite.

The VelaSmooth also has a second component to it: cell stimulation through suction and massage. This was explicitly designed to penetrate the lymphatic system to ultimately reduce cellulite and fatty cells, while significantly improving the texture of the skin.

Although VelaSmooth is non-surgical and therefore, does not permanently remove the cellulite and fatty cells, the size of the cell is still stimulated and reduced through the VelaSmooth process.

This enables the results to be maintained through proper diet, exercise, and future maintenance treatments are also strongly encouraged.

Required Treatments:
VelaSmooth technology typically it requires a minimum of 10 treatments to achieve optimum results. However, the accurate treatment plan and number of treatments required is customized on a per client basis. This is determined by our medical staff upon evaluation of:

•Type of treatment orientation- cellulite, fat, or both
•Goal - desired amount of cellulite and fat reduction
•Candidacy for VelaSmooth
